What You'll Do:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide one-on-one or small group support, guided by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans, adhering to IEPs when necessary
• Offer support for mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to learning

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current TB test (as required for school compliance)
• Current background clearance or willingness to obtain before starting
• Strong sense of dependability and teamwork

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to working with students
