Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Sutter, California

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide essential 1:1 classroom support for students in local schools. What You'll Do:

• Offer individualized or small-group academic, behavioral, and social support under the direction of teachers
• Assist students with routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow behavior support plans and implement IEPs as required
• Provide mobility, supervision, and personal care support as needed
• Build an inclusive and respectful setting to promote student safety and success

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district guidelines)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting occasionally with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain before start

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Background supporting students with special needs, behavioral challenges, or autism
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, though not required
• A reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
