Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to help students thrive within school-based environments near Sunnyvale, CA. Youll provide essential support to students 1:1, ensuring they succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally under the guidance of teachers and other school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with staff to support students academic, behavioral, and social goals
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance in classroom settings
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and full participation
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and follow IEPs when applicable
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and support for personal care needs as required
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• TB test in accordance with district guidelines
• Physically able to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed
• All necessary clearances current or willing to obtain

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care role
• Knowledge or experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience appreciated, but not mandatory
• Dependability, patience, and a cooperative attitude
