Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Stockton, California

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a current TB test (as per district requirements)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Fingerprint and background clearances (current or willing to obtain)
• Experience in educational, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings preferred
• Confidence supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges a plus
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are valued but not mandatory
• Strong reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach to teamwork

Responsibilities:

• Guide students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group support based on instructional plans
• Assist students with routines, transitions, and participation
• Follow IEPs and implement behavior support strategies
• Help facilitate mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
