Youll work closely with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them thrive academically, behaviorally, and socially. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to provide targeted assistance, implement behavior plans, and ensure a safe and inclusive classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group assistance under teacher direction
• Assist with students daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEP guidelines as instructed
• Support supervision, mobility, and personal care for students as needed
• Help maintain a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (as per district requirements)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Willingness to obtain or update all necessary clearances

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT training valued but not mandatory
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
