Instructional Aide Subs Needed Per Diem, School-Based Opportunities near Stockton, CA

Spindle is seeking motivated and compassionate Instructional Aides to provide 1:1 student support within local schools on a per diem basis. This position offers exceptional flexibility, allowing you to accept assignments as your schedule permits, making it perfect for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in students lives. Youll work alongside teachers and school staff to help students access their education and thrive in a structured setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students within the classroom
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance, following teacher and staff guidance
• Help students with classroom routines, transitions, and active participation
• Assist in implementing behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Supervise and support students mobility and personal care needs as appropriate
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test (according to district standards)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current background clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work history in schools, special education, behavioral health, or similar child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and ability to collaborate with a diverse team

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
