Per Diem Paraprofessional in Stockton, CA

What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Work 1:1 or with small groups as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Support students with mobility, supervision, and personal care
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

Requirements for Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Recent TB test (per school requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed
• Background and compliance clearances current or willing to update prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not required)
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
