Per Diem Paraeducator in Stockton, CA

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to provide essential, hands-on support for students in local school settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom environments
• Work closely with teachers and staff to assist students one-on-one or in small groups
• Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Follow IEPs and behavior support plans under staff direction
• Address mobility, supervision, and, as needed, personal care needs
• Uphold a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning space for all

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (as required by the district)
• Mild/Moderate Certification
• Willingness to complete or present current school-based clearances before starting

Preferred Qualities:

• Previous experience in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
