Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Stockton, CA

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to provide crucial support to students on an as-needed basis within a school-based environment near Stockton, CA. Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• All required clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience working in schools, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Prior experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is valued
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and able to work collaboratively with teachers and staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist students in classroomsboth 1:1 and in small groupsas directed by teaching staff
• Support daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation for students
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs where applicable
• Help with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs
