• Providing academic, behavioral, and social support to students both 1:1 and in small groups
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to facilitate classroom participation and learning routines
• Assisting students through daily transitions, routines, and activities
• Following behavior support strategies and implementing IEPs as needed
• Supporting mobility, offering supervision, and assisting with personal care
• Creating and maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements for school-based compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB screening in accordance with district requirements
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and occasionally help lift
• Active, current clearancesor willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred background and qualities:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Comfort supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
