Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom learning, behavior, and social interactions
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by teachers
• Help with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care
• Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• TB test (district-specific requirement)
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience welcomed but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative demeanor
