Job Description

Flexible, per diem opportunities are now available for compassionate Instructional Aide Substitutes ready to work one-on-one with students and help them succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially. Per diem shifts are offered based on school coverage needs, allowing you to accept assignments that fit your schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
- Supporting students daily routines, transitions, classroom engagement, and participation
- Assisting with behavior support plans and IEPs
- Supporting students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
To be eligible, youll need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- To be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to meet district TB testing requirements
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Current school clearances (or willingness to obtain them prior to start)
Preferred experience includes:
- Work in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are a plus, but not required
- A reliable, patient, and team-focused approach
