Per Diem Teacher Aide | Spring Valley, California

School Paraprofessionals are needed for 1:1 support within a nurturing school environment, working as part of a collaborative team that ensures each student has access to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning experience. This position allows you to pick up shifts as needed, with opportunities to develop professionally while enriching students academic and personal journeys.

What You'll Do:

• Provide 1:1 assistance for students, supporting their academic, behavioral, and social needs
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement tailored educational plans
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions between activities, and classroom participation
• Address medical needs, mobility, and personal care (with training as required)
• Foster a respectful and encouraging environment so every student can thrive
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care

Qualifications Needed:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current TB test (per school requirements)
• Physically able to assist with lifting, standing, and mobility support
• School-required clearances, or willingness to complete prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in educational, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR certification and experience with G-Tube or Trach care (helpful, not required)
• Patient, reliable, and committed to teamwork

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
