Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Sonora, California

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assist teachers and staff by working 1:1 or with small groups of students
• Support daily routines, classroom participation, and student transitions
• Follow behavior support plans and comply with IEPs as required
• Help with mobility, supervision, and personal care when necessary
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test in compliance with district standards
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Willingness to obtain or provide current school-required clearances

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
