Per Diem Teacher Assistant - Snohomish, Washington

What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom and school settings
• Work closely with teachers to offer 1:1 or small-group assistance
• Help students with daily activities, classroom routines, and transitions
• Implement behavior strategies, follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and assist with mobility and personal care needs
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Tuberculosis testing as required by the district
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Willingness to complete school compliance clearances prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is helpful but not required
• A team-player mentality, reliability, and a patient approach
