Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group assistance to students in classrooms
• Support academic, behavioral, and social growth under the direction of teachers and staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Facilitate mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test (according to district policy)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a bonus but not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
