Instructional Aide Subs Needed School-Based | Flexible Opportunities
Location: Shasta Lake, CA | Per Diem, As-Needed

This role offers compassionate professionals a chance to create a positive impact by supporting students 1:1 in a structured school environment. As a per diem Instructional Aide, youll have the flexibility to accept shifts based on school coverage needs while playing a vital role in students academic, behavioral, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Assist with 1:1 or small-group instruction under guidance from teachers and school staff
• Aid students during daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB test completed per district standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
