Per Diem Paraeducator in Shasta Lake, CA

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed for flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in school environments near Shasta Lake, CA. Key Duties:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Work 1:1 or with small groups under teacher and staff guidance
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, classroom participation, and behavior support plans
• Follow IEPs as needed and ensure students mobility and personal care needs are met
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a TB test (per district requirements)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed
• Current or obtainable background clearances

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, childcare, special education, or behavioral health
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, but not mandatory
• Dependable, patient, and strong in teamwork
