Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students, following direction from teachers and school staff.
• Assist students with classroom activities, daily routines, and transitions.
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required.
• Support students personal care, mobility, and supervision ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
• Contribute to a respectful and engaging classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed.
• TB test in accordance with school policies.
• All required clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting.

Preferred Background:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, childcare, or behavioral health.
• Experience supporting students with autism or other special needs.
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, though not required.
• Reliable, adaptable, and collaborative team player.
