Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to support students one-on-one within a vibrant and structured school environment. These per diem, as-needed assignments provide flexibility and variety to fit your schedule and lifestyle. Youll play a vital role in the educational journey of students, especially those requiring extra assistance to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group assistance under teacher and staff direction.
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and ongoing classroom engagement.
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care requirements.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Recent TB test in accordance with district requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, and support students with lifting if necessary.
• Current clearances (or willingness to obtain before beginning work).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare environments.
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required.
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude.
