As an Instructional Aide Substitute, you will play an integral role in providing essential 1:1 and small-group support, ensuring that each student receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive. Whether assisting with classroom participation, implementing behavior support strategies, or helping students navigate their daily routines, your presence will help shape an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
- Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
- Assist students with transitions, routines, and activities throughout the school day
- Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when applicable
- Support students requiring personal care, mobility, or supervision
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- TB test in accordance with district standards
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Current required clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to start
Preferred Experience:
- Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus
- Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
