• Offering academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students during class

• Helping students with routines, transitions, and participation
• Implementing behavior support strategies and following IEPs as directed
• Assisting with mobility, supervision, and personal care when necessary
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment

To be eligible for this role, youll need:

• A high school diploma or GED (required)
• To be at least 18 years old
• Completion of a current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Ability to walk, stand, and help with lifting if needed
• Up-to-date clearances (or willingness to obtain before your first day)

Preferred backgrounds include experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care. Additional familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challengesand training such as CPI, PMT, or RBTare valued but not required. A patient, reliable, and team-oriented outlook is key.
