What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Work directly with students one-on-one or in small groups under the direction of teachers
• Assist students with classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs as required
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs for an inclusive environment
• Help maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive atmosphere for all students

Who Were Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to pass a TB test per school district guidelines
• Physically able to stand, walk, and provide lifting assistance as needed
• Current school clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Highly Desired:

• Experience in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
• Familiarity with supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• Background with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques (a plus, not a must)
• Reliability, teamwork, and a patient, encouraging approach
