Per Diem Teacher Aide | Santa Ana, California

Help support the academic and personal growth of students as an Instructional Aide Substitute. In these roles, youll assist students 1:1 or in small groups, under the direction of teachers and school staff. What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Offer individualized or small-group assistance as directed by educators
• Help students with daily routines, school tasks, and transitions
• Aid in implementing behavior support plans and IEPs
• Participate in supervision, mobility, and personal care support as needed
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and respectful space for all learners

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current or eligible TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting students when necessary
• All required clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Ability supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
