Per Diem Instructional Aide in Santa Ana, CA

Seeking individuals passionate about making a real difference in students lives to fill flexible, per diem Instructional Aide substitute positions. Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain and maintain required school clearances (background, TB test per district policy)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols (a plus, not required)
• Compassionate, collaborative, and adaptable attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support in classrooms
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by school staff
• Help students with transitions, routines, and classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment
