In this role, youll step into schools on an as-needed basis to provide essential one-on-one and small group assistance. Whether youre helping students with classroom participation, daily routines, mobility, or providing support outlined in behavior plans and IEPs, your impact will be immediate and meaningful.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Provide individualized or small group instructional support
• Assist with transitions, classroom activities, and supervision to promote inclusion and safety
• Implement behavior support plans as designed by school professionals
• Support students mobility needs and personal care when required
• Foster a respectful, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of a TB test (district requirement)
• Ability to stand, walk, and physically assist as needed
• School compliance clearances (current or willing to obtain prior to your start date)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting individuals with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT training (a plus, not required)
• Demonstrated patience, reliability, and collaboration skills
