As an Instructional Aide, youll play a vital role supporting students 1:1 and in small groups. Your efforts will help children achieve academic, social, and behavioral goals within a structured educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
• Provide one-on-one and group assistance, following teacher and staff instructions
• Help students navigate routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and occasional personal care needs
• Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and safe atmosphere for all students

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; at least 18 years of age
• Ability to complete a TB test (per district guidelines)
• Willingness to undergo and maintain required clearances
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting when necessary

Preferred Qualities and Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting children with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices is helpful, but not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative work style
