Per Diem Teacher's Aide - San Marcos, California

What Youll Do:

• Support students with academics, behavior, and social skills in classroom settings
• Provide focused assistance in 1:1 or small-group formats as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and full participation in classroom activities
• Implement behavioral support strategies and follow IEP guidelines as applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs when necessary
• Foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming learning environment

Qualifications & Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• TB test in accordance with district policies
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Clearance requirements must be fulfilled before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are a plus, but not mandatory
• Patience, dependability, and a collaborative spirit
