Position Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide effective 1:1 or small-group support, following teachers and staff directions
• Help students navigate daily routines, classroom transitions, and engagement
• Follow behavior support plans and ensure implementation of IEPs as required
• Aid with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Current TB test (in accordance with district requirements)
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Willing to obtain or update all required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus but not required
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented attitude
