Per Diem Teacher's Aide - San Jose, California

In this position, youll take on meaningful responsibilities, including:

• Providing 1:1 and small group academic, behavioral, and social support under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Assisting students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom involvement
• Implementing behavior support plans and following IEPs as needed
• Offering supervision, mobility, and personal care support as applicable
• Maintaining an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning environment

To be eligible for this rewarding opportunity, you will need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• To be at least 18 years old
• TB test results according to district standards
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist students with lifting if required
• Up-to-date (or willingness to obtain) school-mandated clearances

Preferred candidates bring some background in educational, behavioral health, or child care settings, with familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges. CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required. Most importantly, a reliable, patient, and team-oriented attitude ensures success in this environment.
