As an Instructional Aide substitute, youll play a hands-on role, helping students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings throughout the school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 or small-group academic and behavioral support at the direction of teachers and school staff
• Supporting students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Assisting with mobility, personal care, and supervision as needed
• Implementing behavior intervention plans and following individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test in accordance with school requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed
• Willingness to obtain necessary clearances before starting

Preferred experience:

• Previous experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials (strongly preferred but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
