Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students within classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain a recent TB test (per district requirements)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed
• Current required clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative work style
