Per Diem Teacher's Aide - San Joaquin, California

What Youll Do:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Provide individualized 1:1 or small-group support as directed by educators and staff
• Help students with classroom routines, daily transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs when applicable
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Willingness to obtain or provide documentation of required TB test
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances or readiness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required)
• Strong reliability, patience, and collaborative spirit
