Per diem opportunities are available for Instructional Aide Substitutes to work in structured school environments in the San Francisco area. What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver one-on-one or small group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• TB test in compliance with district policies
• Current school clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in schools, special education, childcare, or behavioral health environments
• Previous work supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required but a plus)
• Dependable, patient, and committed to working collaboratively

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
