Instructional Aide Substitute Opportunities School-Based, Flexible Per Diem Shifts

Instructional Aide substitutes are currently sought for dynamic, school-based roles supporting students in engaging learning environments near San Francisco, CA. These per diem positions offer the flexibility to accept assignments that fit your schedule, allowing for both professional fulfillment and work-life balance. Youll have the opportunity to work 1:1 with students, providing essential academic, behavioral, and social support while making a positive impact in their educational journey.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with teachers to provide 1:1 or small-group assistance to students
• Supporting classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Implementing behavior support plans and following student IEPs as directed
• Assisting with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as needed
• Cultivating a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to meet school compliance, including TB test and background clearances
• Physically able to stand, walk, and participate in lifting/assistance as required
• Willingness to obtain all required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work or volunteer experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Familiarity supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT a plus, but not necessary
• Patience, reliability, and a team-focused approach
