As an Instructional Aide, you'll play a vital part in helping students achieve their academic, behavioral, and social goals. Youll have opportunities to provide both one-on-one and small-group assistance, working closely with teachers and school teams to nurture an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with academics, behavior, and social participation in classroom settings.
• Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance as assigned by school staff.
• Foster students engagement with daily routines and classroom transitions.
• Assist with implementation of behavior support plans and IEP strategies.
• Provide mobility assistance, basic supervision, and personal care when needed.
• Help to maintain a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years old.
• Ability to meet district TB test and background clearance requirements.
• Capability to assist with lifting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
• Current required clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in school, childcare, behavioral health, or special education settings.
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus but not required.
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach.
