Key Responsibilities

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Help with daily routines, student transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as required
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and lend physical assistance when necessary
• Current TB test (as required by district)
• Willingness to obtain and maintain all necessary clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials a plus (not required)
• Team-player attitude, reliability, and great patience
