Per Diem Paraeducator in San Bernardino, CA

Instructional Aide substitute opportunities are available for compassionate individuals looking to make a daily difference in K-12 school settings. In this dynamic role, you will:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classrooms
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance following teacher and staff direction
• Help students with daily transitions, routines, and class participation
• Follow established behavior plans and IEPs as needed
• Assist with supervising and supporting mobility or personal care needs when required
• Foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming learning environment

Requirements to work in schools include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB test per district policies
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Willingness to complete necessary clearances prior to starting

Preferred candidates will bring:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Familiarity with supporting special needs, autism, or students with behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, though not required
• A compassionate approach, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
