Per Diem Teacher Aide | Saint Paul, Minnesota

Position Responsibilities

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom environments
• Deliver one-on-one or small group assistance as directed by educators and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and full classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to meet school TB testing requirements
• Capable of standing, walking, and providing physical assistance as needed
• Current background clearances (or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Knowledge of supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques (a plus, but not required)
• Strong reliability, patience, and a team-oriented approach
