Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Sacramento, CA

As an Instructional Aide, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 or small-group academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students.
• Supporting students in daily routines, transitions, and active participation in class.
• Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies as directed.
• Helping to supervise and support mobility or personal care needs.
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.

To be eligible, you must meet school compliance requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide proof of a recent TB test (per district requirements).
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist in lifting when necessary.
• Willingness to obtain all required clearances prior to starting.

Preferred candidates will have:

• Previous experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environment.
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, not required).
• Reliable, patient, and positive attitude as a team player.
