As an Instructional Aide Substitute, youll work on a per diem basis, providing invaluable 1:1 support to students in a structured school environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academic, behavioral, and social growth within classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and full classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Offer supervision, mobility support, and personal care as required
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere

Basic Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test (per district policies)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Active clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Familiarity with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and strong communication skills
