Responsibilities include:

• Delivering academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
• Providing 1:1 or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Assisting students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Supporting and implementing behavior intervention plans and IEP objectives
• Helping with student mobility, supervision, or personal care needs as necessary
• Maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Requirements for school compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current clearances or a willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required but a plus)
• Strong reliability, patience, and ability to work effectively as part of a team
