Per Diem Instructional Aide - Rushville, IL

What Youll Do:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance under the guidance of educators and school staff
• Foster engagement and participation in classroom routines and transitions
• Assist with implementing behavior support plans and following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students with mobility, personal care, and supervision as needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment
• Contribute positively to your school community and help students reach their potential

What Youll Need:

• A high school diploma or GED (required)
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide lifting assistance as necessary
• TB test and up-to-date clearances (or willingness to complete prior to starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral/communication challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus, but not required
• A patient, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
