What You'll Do:

• Provide academic, social, and behavioral assistance to students in classroom environments
• Offer individualized or small-group support as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as directed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning space for all

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB testing (per district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and safely assist with lifting as needed
• Completion of all required school clearances (current or willing to obtain prior to start)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare is beneficial
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges preferred
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
