Instructional Aide Positions Per Diem Opportunities

Instructional aides are needed to provide 1:1 and small-group academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings. Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially, supporting teachers and school staff as directed
• Provide 1:1 or small-group help to enhance classroom participation
• Support students with daily routines, transitions, and engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• TB test and current clearances as required by school district guidelines or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
