Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assist students individually or in small groups, following teacher and staff direction
• Help with everyday routines, transitions, and active participation in lessons
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs when applicable
• Provide supervision, mobility support, and assist with personal care as needed
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful climate for learning

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• TB testing in line with school policies
• Physical ability for standing, walking, and assisting in lifts as required
• All clearances up to date or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Background:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral issues
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (not mandatory)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
