Position Responsibilities

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group instruction as directed by educators
• Help students with classroom routines, transitions, and active participation
• Implement targeted behavior support plans and follow IEPs when applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Promote a respectful, engaging, and safe learning community

School Compliance Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test completion per school guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• All clearances must be current or obtained prior to assignment

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environment
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training such as CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, but not mandatory)
• Reliable, patient, adaptable, and a team player
