Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Rosamond, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer individualized or small-group assistance to students, guided by teachers and staff
• Assist with daily routines, class transitions, and students classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as applicable
• Provide mobility and supervision assistance, including personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Completion of TB test (per district requirements)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current background and health clearancesor willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior involvement in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Background with CPI, PMT, RBT certifications is a plus, though not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach to working with children
