As an Instructional Aide, youll work directly with students, offering vital 1:1 or small-group assistance to help them thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Position Highlights:

• Deliver tailored academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by school staff
• Assist students with classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Implement behavioral support plans and help follow IEPs when needed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and, if necessary, personal care
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test required (per district compliance)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist students with lifting if needed
• School-required clearances (current or willing to obtain)

Preferred Attributes:

• Background in school, special education, or child care settings
• Experience with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (a plus, not required)
• Reliable, patient, and teamwork-focused
