Responsibilities:

• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social growth within classroom environments
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Provide supervision, mobility support, and assistance with personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• TB test required (per district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• All district-mandated clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, but not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude
